"A Day of the Creative City"
imagine.. seminar from 10 - 13
The creative city is a place where new ideas prosper, innovation sprouts, free thoughts flow. Creative expressions - the arts, design and knowledge products - permeate the city. Creative individuals find the place inspiring; they want to work and live in such an environment. The creative city however has to be managed through sensitive planning: a wide range of ideas must be protected, new exotic products appreciated and the arts celebrated. The city must also be branded.
This "Day of the Creative City" imagine.. seminar wants to bring together experts in industry and academia to take the stock of what we know about the challenging tasks of making a city creative - from there, lessons will be learned, and more exciting and powerful creative strategies can be forged.
