The amount of DKK 500.000 is to be spent on development of and promotion of initiatives within entrepreneurship education on the member universities of Øresund University. Funds will be awarded to development of new subjects and courses in the field of Entrepreneurship on the 12 universities.

"We are looking forward to supporting a lot of new education initiatives from the competent teachers and researchers in the region. Entrepreneurship can be taught in many different ways and as a mix of different disciplines. The goal is to give the students competencies so that more start up new companies and growth is created in established ones," says Managing Director Christian Vintergaard, Øresund Entrepreneurship Academy.

We expect that the new courses will be ready and open for sign-up in 2008. Øresund Entrepreneurship Academy has previously financed new courses and started 12 new courses in 2006.
