Do you know the difference between an entrepreneur and an intrapreneur? And do you have the recipe for success?
Students from the universities of the Øresund Region are being asked these questions in a new competition from Øresund Entrepreneurship Academy, where all the prizes are eatable. The students have to guess the right ingredients for the recipe of successful entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.

Vitamins for the brain
In order to optimize the body and being able to work creatively, a healthy and diverse diet is necessary. Students normally have a very limited food budget but ØEA is about to change this with a competition where all prizes are eatable and the first prize consists of delivery of ecological vegetables by ”Aarstiderne”.
The competition
The greatest cooks have always been the ones with the nerve to experiment and make new combinations and reach sensational taste experiences. Whether you are thinking outside of the box, in your own or in somebody else’s kitchen, it still requires courage and risk-taking to venture into unknown territory and taking chances.
As an entrepreneur there is no job-security and fixed pay but there is a chance of finding just the right combination and making it big. It takes courage and the will to take risks.
As an intrapreneur, you are an employee but still innovative, and committed which is just as important in order to challenge habitual thinking and thereby to create new results.
Knowing the differences between these two types of innovators is essential for this competition.
Ideas and skills
”A good idea and the courage to see it through are some of the features that the entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs have in common. Unfortunately, experience tells us that only few students and teachers at the universities know the difference between these carrier-paths. With this competition we wish to spread this knowledge” says Managing Director Christian Vintergaard, ØresundEntrepreneurship Academy.
