The course contains the following topics:
1. Introduction
2. Copyright
3. Patents and utility models
4. Trademarks and tradenames
5. Industrial Designs
6. Enforcement.
7. Transfer of IPR

Each topic is examined from the three perspectives. In applying the global perspective the rules of the international conventions - for instance the TRIPS - are examined. The regional (EU) legal system is considered on the basis of the various directives and regulations and on the decisions of the ECJ on e.g. parallel imports. The main features of the Regional registrations systems in patents (the EPC) and trade marks and designs (the OHIM) are examined. In the national perspective the relevant Danish rules are examined.
