Page 18 Dewey's View of Philosophy: A Reconciliation of Dualisms When I was a young student, one of my early satisfactions was that I could find in all of Dewey's writings his persistent effort to see life problems in terms of reconcilable dualisms. , calls Dewey's "most important" work ("Religion" 253)each chapter of which can be read as a reconciliation of apparently mutually exclusive solutions to classic philosophic dilemmas. Experience and Nature is Dewey's edited version of his Carus Lectures at the University of Chicago in 1925.
